"I Knew It!"

So I told My Boss pretty up front. I went into his office and closed the door, sat down and said, "I'm pregnant."

To which he responded, "I knew it!"

Apparently he and his wife have been speculating about how long it would take for us to get pregnant. He said he's excited for us and that he is happy to work with me on a modified work schedule after the baby comes so that he doesn't lose me and I don't have to quit or have my kid in daycare full time. We'll see how that goes, but I was happy about his response.

As he said, "You have to trust God with these things."

Don't we know it!

Nice to have such a great boss.

It's also neat to see the cherry blossom theme resurface for such a joyous occassion. You and Beau will surely attend this year's Cherry Blossom Festival (with a new "bud" to celebrate). :-)

You heard it here first!

(Which is to say "told ya so" or "I knew it" or "y'all stand in awe of my predictive powers now.")

In a way it's hard to say. When did I start reading Jen's blog? :>

But seriously, I knew she'd get married, and when she did, I knew she'd wind up pregnant ASAP. Deb and I have been waiting for this since the engagement was announced (well, not since then as such, given their amazing willpower, but you know what I mean). If not before. I believe you'll find comments from me over the course of time that refer the "when" rather than "if" along these lines.

Okay, then...you win, Jay. ;-) Well, I did make predictions before Beau met Jen as well (and so, well before I even knew of this blog), predicting that he was going to make a great father one day (not if, but when, as you said)...not sure if I tacked on any predictions of specific dates though.

Thanks, all.

We're happy about the baby even if it is a little earlier than we had thought to try. But we're trusting God in the whole thing...

I got you all beat on this prediction thing. Jen will agree with that.
